Why it matters

Small business website design that earns trust

Your website is where new customers decide whether to call you. It should look like the business they're about to meet.

The problem

A site that no longer fits

Many small business websites start as a quick template. A few years later they look dated, load slowly on phones and are hard to update, so they quietly send customers elsewhere.

Our approach

Designed from your brand

We design every page around your brand identity and your customers' questions, then build it in WordPress so you can update it yourself.

The result

A website you're proud to share

A clear, fast, mobile-ready site that explains what you do, shows why you're trusted and makes it easy to get in touch.

What's included

What our website design includes

Every TG website is custom designed around your brand, built in WordPress and ready for phones from day one. Our website design process covers the planning, the design and the build, so you deal with one team from first sketch to launch. Here's what comes with every project.

  • Custom page designs. Designed for your content and your customers, not adapted from a stock theme.
  • WordPress build. A site you own and can edit, with a short recorded tutorial for everyday updates.
  • Mobile-ready layouts. Every page is designed and tested for phones, tablets and desktops.
  • On-page SEO. Clear page titles, meta descriptions, headings, image descriptions and clean structure on every page.
  • Contact form and calls to action. Simple ways for customers to reach you, on every page.
  • Launch support. We help you go live and check that everything works after launch.

Built with care for every visitor

We design with accessibility in mind, using readable text sizes, strong color contrast, descriptive image text and buttons that work with a keyboard. We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, published by the W3C's Web Accessibility Initiative, as our reference. It's good for your customers, and it's good practice for search, too.

How we use modern tools

Every TG website is designed by our team and built with modern, AI-assisted development tools, so you get a custom site faster. The design decisions, the structure and the final checks are all done by people.

What isn't included

Hosting, your domain name, premium plugins and stock photos are third-party costs. They're set up in your name and billed at cost, or you pay the provider directly. We'll recommend options that suit a small business site.

Planning your site

The pages most small business websites need

A good website design starts with the right pages, each with one clear job. Here's where most of our clients begin.

Home

Says what you do, who it's for and where you work in the first few seconds, then points visitors to the next step.

About

Puts a face to the business. People buy from people, especially for services, clinics and trades.

Services

Lists what you offer in plain words, with a short line on each and a link to more detail where it helps.

A key service page

A full page for the service that matters most to your revenue, written to answer real customer questions.

Contact

Your form, email, hours and location if you have one, so getting in touch takes seconds, not minutes.

Blog or resources

Included in Website Business. Useful articles help customers and give search engines fresh content to find.

How it works

A website project, phase by phase

Our website design process runs in four phases, and the timeline starts once your page content is in. Up to 5 pages takes 3 to 4 weeks; 6 to 10 pages takes 4 to 6 weeks.

  1. Phase 1

    Plan the pages

We agree on your page list and what each page needs to do. You send the content, and we collect your logo, photos and brand files. If you need copywriting help, we quote it separately.

  2. Phase 2

    Design the homepage

We design your homepage first, with a recorded walkthrough of the choices. Once it's approved, it sets the style for every other page.

  3. Phase 3

    Design and build every page

We design the remaining pages and build the full site in WordPress, with on-page SEO, mobile layouts and your contact form in place.

  4. Phase 4

    Review, launch and handover

You review the live preview, we make your final changes, then we launch. You get a short tutorial so you can update the site yourself.

A straight answer on SEO

What on-page SEO can and can't do for your website

Good website design and good SEO go together. Every website we build includes on-page SEO: clear titles and descriptions, a sensible heading structure, descriptive image text, fast-loading pages and content that answers what customers search for. That gives search engines a clean, well-organized site to understand.

Search engines reward sites that are fast, clear and genuinely useful, which is why we keep pages focused, headings descriptive and every image labeled. Those basics also make the site easier for customers to use.

What we won't do is promise rankings. Google's own SEO Starter Guide says there are no shortcuts that put a site at the top of its results, and that changes can take anywhere from hours to several months to show. Anyone who promises page one is guessing.

What helps over time

Search visibility usually grows with steady, useful content and an active Google Business Profile. That's exactly what Growth Care covers each month: website upkeep, two SEO blog posts and four Google Business Profile posts.

When a website isn't the right next step

If your current site is in good shape and just needs fresh content, a new build may not be worth it. Growth Care alone could be the better spend. If your brand still looks dated, start with brand identity so the website has something strong to build on.

Who it's for

Who our website design service is built for

Website design works well when the site has a clear job. These are the businesses we serve well, and the projects we'd send elsewhere.

A strong fit when…

  • You run a practice, service business, restaurant or trade with real customers
  • Your current site is dated, slow on phones or hard to update
  • You want a site you own and can edit in WordPress
  • You can send page content, or notes we can shape, within the first week
  • You'd like the website and your brand to finally match

Another route may suit you better when…

  • You need a large online store with hundreds of products
  • You need a custom app, booking engine or member portal
  • You want a site live in a few days. A quality template is quicker
  • Your site only needs fresh content. Growth Care may be enough

Not sure which side you're on? Tell us about your current site and we'll give you a straight answer.

Questions

Website design questions, answered

Cost, timing, WordPress, SEO and what happens after launch.

How much does a small business website cost?

Website Starter is $2,800 for up to five pages, and Website Business is $4,800 for six to ten pages with a blog. Both include custom design, a WordPress build, mobile-ready layouts and on-page SEO. Extra pages are $350 each. Hosting, your domain and premium plugins are third-party costs billed at cost. Website Starter is paid 50% to start and 50% before launch, and Website Business is paid 40%, 30% and 30%.

How long does it take to build a website?

Up to five pages takes 3 to 4 weeks, and six to ten pages takes 4 to 6 weeks. The timeline starts once your page content is in, because writing is usually what slows a website down. Feedback within two business days keeps the project on schedule. Rush delivery is available for 30% more when our schedule allows.

Why do you build in WordPress?

WordPress is widely used, well supported and easy to edit, so you're never locked in to one designer. You own the site and can update text, photos and blog posts yourself. Any WordPress developer can work on it in the future. For a small business marketing site, it's a practical, flexible choice.

Do I need a new brand before a new website?

Not always. If your logo, colors and fonts already feel right, we design the website from your existing brand. If they feel dated, a new brand identity first gives the website a much stronger foundation. Many clients do both together with the Launch Bundle for $6,000. We'll give you a straight recommendation on your discovery call.

Will my website rank on Google?

We can't promise rankings, and you should be wary of anyone who does. Every site we build includes on-page SEO, which gives search engines a clean, well-organized site to understand. Visibility usually grows over time with useful content and an active Google Business Profile. Growth Care covers both each month if you'd like ongoing help.

Do you write the website content?

Nobody knows your business like you do, so we ask for your content or notes first. We format it into clear pages with headings that work for readers and search. If you need copywriting help, tell us on the discovery call and we'll quote it separately. We never publish anything you haven't approved.

Do you use AI to build websites?

Every TG website is designed by our team and built with modern, AI-assisted development tools, so you get a custom site faster. Design decisions, page structure and final checks are made by people. Your confidential information is never put into public AI tools without your permission.

What happens after my website launches?

We check the live site, fix any issues from our build during launch support and send a short recorded tutorial for everyday updates. From there, you can manage the site yourself or choose Growth Care at $1,400 a month. Growth Care includes website upkeep and small edits, two SEO blog posts, four Google Business Profile posts and a monthly report. You own the site and its files either way.
