Is it time?

Signs your small business brand needs a refresh

Most of our brand identity clients have been in business for years. The work got better, but the look stayed the same.

Your logo was a quick fix

It was made in an afternoon, by a friend or from a template, to get the doors open. It did its job, and now it's holding you back.

Nothing quite matches

Your sign, menu, website and social posts all use slightly different colors and fonts, so customers never see one clear brand.

New customers hesitate

People who haven't met you judge the business by how it looks online. A dated brand can make a great business look smaller than it is.

There are no rules to follow

Every new flyer starts from scratch, and whoever makes it guesses at the colors. A simple set of guidelines fixes that.

You've grown or changed

You added services, moved up-market or opened a second location, and the old look no longer fits who you serve.

You're a little embarrassed

If you hesitate before handing over a business card, that's usually the clearest sign of all.

What's included

What a brand identity includes

A brand identity is the visual system that makes your business recognizable everywhere it shows up: your logo, colors, typography and the rules that hold them together. It goes further than a logo. A logo is one piece; a brand identity tells your team how to use it on a sign, a menu, an invoice and an Instagram post so they all look like the same business.

Every Brand Identity project at TG Creative Studio includes the pieces below. They're designed together, so they work together.

  • Moodboard. The direction for your colors, fonts, imagery and logo, approved before any logo work begins.
  • Logo suite. A primary logo, secondary versions and an icon, in every file format you need for print and web.
  • Color palette. Primary and accent colors with HEX, RGB and CMYK values, checked for readable contrast.
  • Typography system. Headline and body fonts, with sizes and weights for print and screen.
  • Brand guidelines PDF. Clear rules your team, printer and future designers can follow.
  • Core collaterals. Business card, letterhead, email signature and three social media templates.

Designed by a designer, from a blank page

Every logo and brand mark we deliver is an original design made by a designer. We don't generate logos with AI. That matters for your ownership too: the U.S. Copyright Office's 2025 report says copyright protects human authorship, and that prompting an AI tool alone generally isn't enough to make the result protectable. A designer-made mark gives you a stronger foundation to build on.

We do use modern software to speed up production, like resizing files and preparing exports. The creative decisions stay with people.

Made for the way you actually work

Your brand identity has to survive real life: an embroidered apron, a tiny favicon, a vinyl sign seen from across the street, a one-color stamp on a takeout bag. We test every logo at small sizes and in one color before we call it final. If your business has a specific use, like a storefront, uniforms or packaging, tell us in the questionnaire and we'll design for it from the start.

You can browse logo and brand work from past projects to get a feel for our style before you book.

Built to last, not to follow trends

We aim for clean, considered work that still looks right in five years. That usually means simple shapes, careful type and a palette with room to grow. It also means your brand identity is easy for a sign maker, a printer or a web developer to reproduce correctly.

How it works

A brand identity project, phase by phase

Four phases, 15 to 20 business days of studio time, and your approval closes each one. We quote 3 to 4 weeks because real feedback takes time.

  1. 2 to 3 business days

    Discover and moodboard

You fill in a short brand questionnaire, then we meet for a kickoff call on Google Meet. We turn your answers into a moodboard that shows the colors, fonts, imagery and logo direction we recommend, and why.

  2. 5 to 7 business days

    Logo design

We design logo concepts from the approved moodboard and present them with a short recorded walkthrough. You get up to three revision rounds, then a final logo suite with every version you need.

  3. 4 to 5 business days

    Brand guidelines

We build your color and type system and write the rules for using your logo. It all comes together in a brand guidelines PDF that anyone on your team can follow.

  4. 4 to 5 business days

    Applications and handover

We apply the new brand to your business card, letterhead, email signature and social templates. Once the final invoice is paid, you receive every file and full ownership.

Who it's for

Who our brand identity design is for

Brand Identity is built for established small businesses, practices and personal brands. If it isn't the right step yet, we'll say so.

A strong fit when…

  • You've been in business a year or more and the brand hasn't kept up
  • You're a restaurant, bakery, barbershop, trade, practice or personal brand ready to look established
  • You want rules your team can follow, not just a new logo file
  • You can give one set of feedback within two business days
  • You're planning a website or new signage soon and want them to match

Something else may fit better when…

  • You're still testing the idea. Logo Essentials, or a Brand Strategy Session first, is the smarter spend.
  • You need a logo in a few days. Logo Essentials takes about 2 weeks, or about 1 with rush delivery when our schedule allows.
  • You only need a sign or menu updated with your current logo. Our smallest project is $950, so a local designer may suit a one-off task better.
  • You need ads managed or photos shot. We design, but we don't run ads or do photography.

After launch

Carry your new brand everywhere customers find you

A new brand earns trust faster when customers see it the same way in every place they meet you. Most clients take one of these next steps once their brand identity is approved.

A website that matches

Your website is often a new customer's first look at your business. We design and build custom WordPress websites from your new guidelines, so the brand carries straight through. See how our website design projects work, or save $600 with the Launch Bundle.

Monthly content in your new style

Social templates only help if someone keeps posting. Social Essentials gives you 12 on-brand posts a month, designed from the templates we built for you.

Ongoing care for your site and Google profile

Growth Care keeps your website updated and your Google Business Profile active each month, so the brand stays fresh long after launch day.

Questions

Brand identity design questions, answered

Cost, revisions, files, AI and what happens first.

How much does brand identity design cost?

Our Brand Identity package is $2,400 and covers the moodboard, full logo suite, color and type system, brand guidelines PDF and core collaterals. Logo Essentials is $950 if you need a strong mark and the basics. Brand Identity Complete is $3,800 and adds 10 social templates, a brochure or flyer, a presentation template, mockups and a website homepage design. Every quote is written before work begins. Projects under $3,000 are paid 50% to start and 50% before final files.

What's the difference between a logo and a brand identity?

A logo is a single mark. A brand identity is the full system around it: alternate logo versions, an icon, colors, fonts and the rules for using them. The system is what keeps your sign, website, menu and social posts looking like one business. Without it, every new piece gets designed from scratch and drifts a little further from the last. That's why our Brand Identity package includes a brand guidelines PDF.

Can you refresh my current logo instead of starting over?

Yes, if the existing logo has something worth keeping. Many owners have customers who recognize a shape or a color, and throwing that away has a cost. In the discovery phase we look at what's working and recommend a refresh or a new direction. You decide before any logo work begins. Either way, the project runs through the same four phases.

Do you use AI to design logos?

No. Every logo and brand mark is designed by a designer, from a blank page. We use modern software to speed up production work like file exports and resizing, but not for creative decisions. This also protects you. The U.S. Copyright Office has said that work generated by AI from prompts alone may not be protected by copyright, so a designer-made mark gives you a clearer claim to what you own.

How many revisions are included?

Brand Identity and Brand Identity Complete include up to three revision rounds per phase. Logo Essentials includes two rounds. We ask for one set of consolidated feedback per round, from one decision-maker. If you want more changes after the included rounds, extra design time is $50 an hour. A new direction after you've approved a phase is quoted as new work.

What files will I receive at the end?

You receive your logo suite as vector files for print and signage, plus PNG and JPG files for web and social. You also get your brand guidelines as a PDF, your collaterals as print-ready and editable files, and your fonts listed with licensing notes. Everything is organized in clearly named folders. Files are released once the final invoice is paid, and full ownership transfers to you at the same time.

What do you need from me to get started?

To start, we need a signed agreement, the deposit and your completed brand questionnaire. The questionnaire asks about your customers, your competitors and the feeling you want the brand to have. It helps to share your current logo and any examples you like or dislike. Then we book a kickoff call within our shared hours. The 3 to 4 week timeline starts once all of that is in.

Can you design for my industry?

Very likely. We've designed for more than 20 industries, including healthcare practices, law firms, real estate, restaurants, bakeries, apparel brands, barbershops, nonprofits, churches and trades like plumbing and HVAC. The process is the same for every client, and the moodboard is where we tailor the direction to your market. We welcome clients from the US, UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. All work happens in English.
